In Pennsylvania, two girls tanning in the middle of the road were hit by a car. The driver of the car actually happened to be related to the girls too. He had been driving down the road and, to no surprise, didn't see the girls lying in the middle of it. The girls were airlifted to the hospital in fair condition.
No...Way...
That's totally crazy that you didn't see two girls laying in the middle of a road that cars drive on. I mean how could you not know that the road supposedly doubles as a tanning strip!?
**cue is sarcasm alert**
WHYYYYYY were these girls laying in the road to tan in the first place?! C'mon, the ROAD???? Couldn't just set up shop on the shoulder could you? Nope they just HAD to lay in the road. I wonder, did people just drive around them or is it a rarely-traveled road? Either way, it wasn't the smartest decision they could have made.
I'm glad they are ok (as far as we know) but I just hope they realize how dumb they were. And the driver shouldn't get in trouble for this. Yes, he might have not been paying complete attention but how many people expect to randomly see someone lying in the road? Definitely not the first thing I think I'll see when I get into my car.
So I guess this was not a road less traveled, and these girls learned that lesson the hard way.
