A 43-year-old man was arrested at LAX after he smoked weed in the plane's bathroom before taking off. He said he didn't think he was doing anything wrong because he has a medical marijuana card.
Just couldn't wait, could he?
Obviously, he knew he was doing something he shouldn't because he went into the bathroom to hide the smoking. Why would you hide it, if you "knew" you weren't doing anything wrong?
And since when did airplanes take off those "No Smoking" signs? Oh that's right, they didn't! No smoking means you can't smoke ANYTHING on the plane. Weed is not an exception, regardless if you have a card or not. Those signs aren't there just for cigarette smokers. Even the bathrooms have those warnings as well as telling people not to tamper with smoke detectors as it's a federal offense.
So with all those warnings around him, he still felt that it'd be okay for him to go smoke in the bathroom. Yeah, okay.
Medical marijuana cards don't make someone invincible to the laws everyone else has to follow. I think it's time to revoke his card because seems to me, he's smoked a little too much and it's killed any sane brain cells he had.
